Utah Trip

We went to Utah for a Wedding and early Christmas with The Scott family. My Friend Lindsey got married in the Draper Temple on Dec 1oth. It was a beautiful ceremony and great to see her get married and be so happy. While we were There we tried to pack as much in as possible. We were able to go see the lights and temple Square, Micah went snowboarding with Taylor, and I was able to see my bestfriend Tiffany and go do our usual lunch and pedicures. We also had a great early Christmas with Rick, Jana, Jess, Taylor, Megan and of course cute little baby Haylee. We also had some family pictures. Trey was able to get his first official haircut for these pictures and he did sooo well for the lady. I was a little scared because he is always such a bear for us when we try to cut his hair. It was a great trip but tooo short as always.

The kids and I went to the mall to see Santa this past week they were so excited to see him. Payton was still al little timid but Trey walked right up to him in front of all of us and got right up on his lap it was fun. My Cousin Jessica got married on Oct 29th in St. George. I was able to fly down by myself to the wedding and join in on the festivities. It was great. Jessica is pretty much like my sister even though we are just cousins so I was really excited to share her special moments in the temple and her wedding ceremony with her. Her are some pictures that I took of the bachelorette party and wedding. I was also able to spend sometime with family which is always great. I am so proud of her and Erick for making good decisions in their lives to this point. I know they will succeed in marriage and in life. I love you guys congrats. This Year for halloween we have once again done a lot of fun things. The kids and I started out by going to a carnival at the Rec center in Beaverton. We had a lot of fun. Trey didn't feel good so he didn't want to dress up but he had fun once we got there. Payton one a goldfish that she named KIWI and we actually have had it for almost two weeks now which is like a miracle for me to have not killed the fish yet. We also made our annual sugar cookies and decorated them. The kids insisted on helping me make the cookies as you can see below. I remember thinking my Aunt DawnRae was crazy when I went to her house and she had Daniel, who was about 1 at the time sitting on the counter helping her make meatballs. I now do this daily. hahaha. We Went to the pumpkin patch Saturday as a family. It was so much fun. We love halloween and we are having a pumpkin carving party with some friends on Tuesday more pics to come. Well to make a long story short I never found my camera which is sooo sad. So I ordered what pictures Disney took which was about ten of Trey because, Payton was scared of all of the characters besides Minny and the princesses. These ten pictures cost and arm and a leg but I had to have a few pictures to make myself feel better about the situation. Taylor and Megan were nice enough to send me what they had so this is what we have of the trip.The other pictures our of the kids trying out our new camera. Payton loves to make faces for the camera. Treyson lately wants to sit on the counter and HELP???? me cook. We are pretty busy I think this is the most busy we have been so far. Micah has clinical from about 6-6pm 3days a week and class one day a week. I am working 4days a week 8 hour days. The kids go to preschool/daycare 3 days a week and it is quite the riot getting everybody from place to place but we do it. I can't say with smiling faces all of the time but we are enduring. The rain has already started up here again. Summer was about 2 months long and that is it. Everyone tells me this is the worst year they have seen in a long time so I am hoping they are telling the truth. I pray for sun daily and worship it when it comes out JK. Treyson is still potty training and he does really good at daycare with this. He has a teacher at daycare MRS. Mary that we really like and so it makes me feel better knowing he is in good hands. Payton is doing fine at preschool but is still boycotting the daycare situation a little bit. She always says she has fun when I come to pick her up but she doesn't ever want to go in the morning. hmmmm! Well I miss all our family and friends and am really glad I have such a great husband and God to help me get through all of this. Our ward family is great and I know we are sooo blessed and that Jesus is the Christ. The LDS church is the true and living church upon this earth and happiness comes through having a relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus.

I am writing an update because I don't have a camera to post any pictures :( As most of you know I lost my camera on the way home from Disney land a few weeks ago and have of course called every place I could and have had not luck. I am soooo sad to lose all those wonderful pictures from our trip and I am still having a little bit of hope that Southwest will find it but not very much hope. I did order a few of the pictures off of Disney's website for an arm and a leg so I will post those when I get them but they are all of Treyson because Payton was scared of most of the characters. We did have a fabulous time and Disneyland was sooo much cooler than I remember 12 years ago when I went. Thanks Rick and Jana for a great vacation. To update on our life. Micah is back in school and very busy as usual. He will be traveling a lot starting in December and will be gone for about 8 months out of the year next year to different place's for clinicals. I am not looking forward to this but am sure it will be worth it in the end. Treyson is doing pretty good at potty training and Payton is doing really good at her letters and their sounds. She is in gymnastics which she loves and has helped her to be a little more brave because she is SCARED of everything, that or she just says that to get out of things which I think is what is really going on. anyway all is well will post some more pics when I get a camera or find mine love ya all

Lindsay comes to visit and THE DENTIST!!!!

This last week one of my best friends Lindsay came to visit us in Portland from Dallas Texas. I was so happy she can do those kind of things because she is single. However she won't be single for long. She is getting married in December and I am so happy for her. While she was here we went and looked at some wedding dresses, went to the Beaverton parade, and spent some quality time. Then Today was the big day for the Dentist. Treyson's First visit and Payton's second visit to the dentist. We made it family affair and all went one right after the other which turned out to be kind of long day but rather painless. Payton did so good she let the lady clean her teeth and she would let her use the water gun but wanted nothing to do with MR. THIRSTY(the suction) Treyson let the Dentist count his teeth but would not have much to do with anything else. He did get excited about his new toothbrush and floss. All and all turned out really well only one cavity for the whole family and of course it was me. Anybody who know me knows that I have had TERRIBLE TEETH!!!! my whole life from the time I was very little. Lets just say I was really happy there was only one because a typical dentist visit for me would include a few cavities and probably a crown or something, no joke. I know my Mom will be very proud to read that I took my whole family to the dentist but she will probably say " did the tell you to floss more" love ya Mom!!!!!

Some Random Thoughts!!!

So our lives have been pretty busy lately with my new job and Micah's school of course. Someday's I wonder if I am going to make it, but each time I am lifted back by my heavenly father and my husband who is my rock. I don't think I have ever thanked Rick and Jana for raising such a great son who is so patient and dedicated to his family. I am so greatful for all my blessings and my savior Jesus Christ who makes it possible to repent for all my short comings. The kids have been extra cute these days. Something that Treyson did that was cute was we took them to this really cool place which they thought was chucky cheese. It was not it was even better. The next morning I went and got him and he came in and laid on the bed with Micah. The first thing that he said was "Thank you Daddy for taking me to Chucky Cheese." I thought it was so thoughtful and cute to come out of a two year olds mouth. He can be such a sweet boy. He is working on his potty training. This always brings some challenge's to us which are peeing on the couch, the floor, the rugs and well he even thought it would be fun one day to pee in his toy dump truck. Micah and I were sitting on the couch when all of the sudden I heard something that sounded like water running. Then Payton yells Treyson is peeing in the dump truck. Soon after Treyson runs out from behind the couch screaming I pee'd in the Dump Truck. Micah and I were trying to keep straight face and let him know that is not right but it was really hard because it was actually pretty darn hillarious. Now on to Payton. She is really into learning her letters lately. I bought this movie called the letter factory thanks to Chelsea and her blog. It is a great movie to help kids learn their letters. She can write her first name and recognize most of her numbers. I am so glad because she has really been resistant to learning when I try to teach her things. She has spent several times crying in her room because she has been refusing to learn. She is doing much better with this lately. Something cute she does is tell me that I am her best Mommy. I tell her well I am her only mommy and inside I am thinking I am sure not the best mommy but it does make me feel good. She is getting so big and sooooo grown up . she is loving her gymnastics class and is learning a lot of new things. Something else she did that was funny is at dinner time we have only had three chairs up until now because we haven't needed four. Treyson transitioned to a booster chair recently so we have been short a chair. Payton has therefore been sharing her chair with Micah. Both of their skinny bums can fit on it. One day Payton asked me to sit with her and I told her that My bum was bigger than Dad's and so he needed to sit with her. She has gladly reminded me of this several times that My Bum is bigger than Dad's so I can't sit with her. thats motivation isn't it. anyway our lives our busy, stressful but very blessed.

Jessica and Tara visit or "Take a Step Into Woodstock as Jess Would Say"

I was really excited for Tara and Jessica to come to town and visit me. I love my family and love having visitors. We had a lot of fun and it was a great weekend. 1. We started out with a trip to Newport on Thursday which is about 2 and a half hours away. We went to and Aquarium that was a bit of a dissapointment but we did get to see some seals and sea otters. We also had a very beautiful drive. Are main focus was to find some fresh Crab on the way home but it couldn't be any kind of crab it had to be King Crab for Jessica. We finally found a place that had king crab instead of the whole fresh crab to later find out after we ordered they were out of King Crab. so sad to say Jessica and Tara settled for snow crab. Are plan on Friday night was to go camping at the beach but it decided to rain in oregon (Suprise) so we got all packed up and on the way out there we changed our minds. So we went to Cannon Beach ate at Mo's by the beach and then fulfilled Jessica's wish of building a fire and making Smores. It was raining the whole time but it was fun and we were all sooo tired when we got home. Saturday morning we got going pretty early. Jessica really wanted to exprience Portland so I thought what better than to take her to the Portland Saturday Market. It is a fun place to go with good food good booth's and boy do you see what they mean by Keep Portland WEIRD!!!! As you will see below we saw anything from a preacher yelling on the street to an approximately 80 year old homeless couple posing with the peace sign. We then topped the day off by going to VOODOO Doughnuts. This is the most famous place in Portland and you have to wait about an hour to get doughnuts but the experience and doughnuts are worth it!!! We ate all the doughnuts in two days and I am sure glad they are gone. The doughnuts have really weird names and well see below. It was soooo fun and Micah and I even got a free date out of it while Jess and Tara Babysat we got to go see Harry Potter yeah for family and fun. I sure miss these girls and I wish Tori could have came but maybe next time. Sunday we went to the temple and took some pictures. It was closed for cleaning so we couldn't go inside the grounds but it was still great. Then it was off to the airport where we got there after I missed the exit because we were UGLY facing cars It was great!!! This guy was on the street at the market playing about 5 instruments at once

The 4th of July Weekend

This was the first July 4th away from both of our families. We were wondering what we were going to do at first but it turned out to be great. We started off the weekend by going to the beach with kids on Saturday. The kids love the beach as much as I do so even though the Oregon coast water is never warm it is still fun to wade your feet and make sand castles. We picked a great day to go and we all had a lot of fun. On the 4th we found out there was a big celebration in the neighborhood that most of our ward members live in so we decided to go to that. We went to our friends the Whites. and watched the parade, had some treats at the park and watched the fire work show at night which was fabulous. We were so greatful to have some friends to hang out with since we didn't have family. Payton and Treyson had a lot of fun playing There friends and it was a great day. Vacation Time!!!!

We were able to go on vacation to Nevada and Utah to see our families this June. We had a lot of fun. The kids and I were gone for about 10 days and Micah joined us in Utah for a few days of Vacation. We were able to fly into Las Vegas where we were met by Aunt T and Tori at the Airport. As any mother can attest plane rides are not much fun with kids and especially not fun with a 4 year old that has to use the bathroom every hour and a 2 year old that cannot sit still. Despite our two trips to the bathroom we were able to make it without anybody getting hurt. We had a lot of fun in Mesquite swimming and visiting family. We were also able to go to Jessica's Graduation where she graduated in the top ten in her class. I made a bet to her when she was probably about 10 that if she did that I would get her something big and I am so proud of her. It was great to visit with everyone and the weather was amazing. Seth and Daniel also came to Jessica's graduation and they made me put Treyson's car seat in their car so the boys could ride together. We met Micah in American Fork and we were able to spend sometime with family and friends their. Micah had a lot of fun with this Dad as they are always very active. There was a city celebration going on there so we took the kids to the parade and saw some great fireworks. All and all it was a great vacation and we are very fortunate to have the family and friends that we do. We miss everyone but we know we are where we are supposed to be. things are going well and I got a new job during the day that I like and has helped out with my mental health tremendously. Our Lives seem to be getting busier everyday. We are always doing something and time goes by so fast but so slow at the same time it is really hard to explain. I am so blessed everyday and no matter how busy we are things seem to work out. Jana and Rick came to town this month and we were able to spend a few days with them. We were able to go to the Zoo and just spend some quality time with family which we miss sooo much. The last week or so has been really nice and the sun has been shining more and it has been so nice. Micah will be done with his third term in a couple of weeks and we are so excited to be able to go see our families in June. We finally got our house rented again in Utah after being vacant for three months and I am starting to look for a new job working days. Nights has been hard and I have about had my fill but when the right job comes it will come and I know the lord will take care of us. Easter Activities

Easter this year was good. We were able to do a lot of fun things with the kids. We started out by decorating eggs with the kids about a week before easter. Payton really got the hang of it and had a lot of fun. Treyson, well he was pretty much a troublemaker with the eggs and by the end Micah had about had enough of the kid. It was still really fun though. The next set of pictures that our actually from the bottom up our from a county Easter egg hunt that we took the kids to on the Saturday before Easter. They had a petting zoo, the Easter bunny, candy hunts and a lot of other things to do. Treyson was first up for his hunt. He went out there and dominated the two year old hunt. He was picking up so much candy. Micah and I had already discussed that Treyson would probably have no problem but that Payton might not do it. So when it came time for Payton to go I thought she was going but as soon as she figured out I was not with her she came running back crying. So I had to walk out there with her. She did fine after that. She was however scared of the Easter bunny and would not have her picture taken and she would not feed the animals either ohhh well I guess she is kind of a danty little flower. Her brother on the other hand just the opposite. Easter day was really great the Easter Bunny delivered his baskets and then we were able to go to church. This is my favorite part it was a great service and really focused on what Easter is all about. We then came home and had an Easter egg hunt in the rain. Payton was all excited but as soon as Treyson figured out what to do he was off and running. Payton was walking behind him yelling "Treyson that was mine." she did end up getting some eggs and all was good. Great Easter so greatful for my family and most of Jesus Christ. The Coast and Three new posts keep going on!!!

We went to Seaside Oregon on the coast for our anniversary. We took the kids and stayed at a hotel right on the beach it was so pretty and so fun. I didn't get many pictures of Payton because she was cold and didn't want to have much to do with the water but Treyson of course was wanting to run in the freezing cold ocean water and would have been totally soaked if I would have let him. Micah did get some kites for the kids and we flew those at the beach. We then came home on Saturday and had Payton's Birthday party. I wanted to post her party for her special day that is why these posts are out of order. I love the picture below of Treyson it almost looks like he is walking on water. We had so much fun and I don't want Micah's week vacation to end but it is back to the routine tommorow term three and 21 months to go. Payton Jean Is 4 years old today. Man does time fly. She is getting so big and she is also getting so smart and well she has always been beautiful. Payton had her Birthday Party on Saturday and she invited all her sunbeam class to come. It was a lot of fun and she was very spoiled by all her family and friends. For her party she wanted to have a Strawberry Shortcake theme at home with pizza and a heart cake so that is what we did. We played pin the tail on the donkey and had a pinata. The people that were at her party were. Jude Hampton, Everson Cooper, Adie Daines, Charlotte White, Logan Weiderhold, and of course Mom, Dad and Treyson Interesting Facts about Payton 1. She knows all her colors and is doing well learning her numbers. She is also knows the alphabet and she love to sing the song 2. Payton love to pretend and make believe with anything and everthing from puzzle pieces to her food she can turn anything into something else with her imagination. 3. She is gaining quite the vocabulary. Some of her famous phrases are "That is really a great thing Momma or Your so great Momma." One more is "That is the best thing I ever had." 4. Payton loves spongebob strawberry shortcake, barbies, and many more things. Her Favorite books right now are Amelia Bedilia. We love you Payton Happy Birthday

5 Years and Running!!!!

Micah and I have been married for 5 years On March 23rd. It seems like it has gone by so fast but yet we have been through so much. I can truly say it was the best decision that I ever made and even though marriage is not all extreme bliss I wouldn't trade it for anything. Reflection back on what Micah and I have been through I feel we have been truly blessed and also grown closer in hard times. Here are a few of our accomplishments as a couple and hard ships as well.

Year one!!!!( 2006-2007) - In year one Micah and I got married on Spring break of school. Micah in Nursing school and me in bachelors of nursing school. 3 months later we got pregnant with Payton and we got to go through this together. Me being very sick and trying to do school and work was not easy and it was not easy for Micah either because I was not nice. I finished my Bachelors Degree in December and Our sweet little Payton was born 5 days after our 1st anniversary which we spent of course at home due to me being so pregnant.

YEAR TWO!!! (2007-2008)Year two of course started out with our sweet little Payton and just got better from there. Micah continued to go to school and became and LPN. He was working and I was working and life was really busy. Micah Graduated RN school at the end of this year. I also lost my Granpda Dee this year which was really hard and Micah was there for me sooo much. Boy do I miss him

Year Three!!! ( 2008-2009) - Year three we found out we were pregnant with Treyson and so the whole sickness thing was there all over again but worse this time. I also had a kidney stone for three weeks that I had to have removed. I was sure glad when that was over. I am pretty sure Micah was too. Micah started his Bachelors Program at UVU and Treyson was born in February of 2009 another gift from God.

Year Four!!!(2009-2010) - The kids continued to get big. We began to apply for nurse anesthesia schools all over. Micah Graduated with his bachelors degree in Nursing in December and He got into Oregon Health and Science University. We found this out when we were on our anniversary date it was awesome and a huge relief.

Year Five!!!(2010-2011) We moved to Portland Oregon and Micah Began CRNA School. I got a new job as an RN on a bone marrow transplant floor where I am working nights to support our family. This year has been a good one as well as a challenging one with some hard times. We are extremely busy and our schedules are crazy. The kids are getting sooo big. We also lost Micah's brother in February. This was the hardest time for our family and we are still taking it day by day we love Stephen soo much and miss him like crazy. We know we can see him again one day. I hope many more good years are to come. but as for now we are enduring our busy schedules as usually knowing that the out come will be good and we are truly blessed.

Aunt T came to Portland on her spring break to visit us. We had a lot of fun. We went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory where we were able to have their Ice Cream which is the best. They have homeade waffle cones. We also were able to do some shopping and go to the Multanomah Falls. They were really pretty and raging with water this time of year. thanks for Coming Aunt T We miss our families.

Oh how time flys. It seems like just yesterday that I was pregnant with this wild man. He is sooo cute and such a handful. I don't know where to began about how lucky I am to be his mother. He is such a fun kid. He is in his terrible 2's for sure but he does so many cute things it is so hard to get mad at him. Treyson had his birthday party at a place called PAPA's PIZZA. It has a huge play place and a guy that makes balloon animals on saturdays. We were sad not to be able to celebrate with all our family this year but we were able to celebrate with some friends here in Oregon. I made Treyson a Train cake that I think turned out pretty well. Overall we had a lot of fun. Treyson also got a Basketball hoop for his birthday and he has been playing constantly since. He absolutely loves it. He even made me put his new basketball shirt on he got for his birthday.

Some interesting facts about Treyson
1. He is a climber his favorite thing to do is climb up the kitchen counter and it drives us crazy
2. He never walks anywhere he is always running and falls a lot. No trips to the ER YET!!!
3. He is talking in sentences and really well for his age. I am pretty sure this credit needs to go to Payton for here diligence in teaching Treyson words.
4. he loves balls, Thomas the Train or any kind of train, teasing his sister, cars, trucks, and all the typical boy things.
5. I think weighs about 25lbs
6. He likes to put his plate on his head when he is done eating

WE LOVE OUR STEPHEN

As many of you know. We lost our brother Stephen on Feb 4, 2011 to a battle with depression. I would just like to write a few things about our memories of Stephen. I remember the first time that I met Stephen I remember thinking he was a good looking kid . As I got to know Stephen more I got to know a few more things about him. 1. He was a scholar in the gospel. 2. He was a great missionary and he served with distinction and honor. 3. He would drop about anything he was doing to help us move or do anything Micah asked him to do. On our recent move to Portland him and Micah loaded everything into the truck all by themselves which was a huge job. Stephen always acted like he had all the time in the world to spend with us and he was a great uncle. Payton and Treyson love him so much. Payton said her favorite memory of Stephen is that he would always take her for broom rides like Harry Potter. The last time we saw Stephen he was putting paytons shoes on the stair case and flying her around on the broom while she was trying to catch her shoes in the air. Treyson also had a love for Stephen. He always would ask where Stebus was. It was extremely hard to have him still ask for Stephen. We have suffered a great loss but we believe that Stephen did so much good in his life and that he will be a missionary in heaven and he will be watching over us. We Love you Stephen and will see you again someday. Below is a poem that Jessica, Stephens sister wrote it is great.

So I was hoping for Treyson to be in his crib a little longer because he is such a wild man I figured it was going to be quite the chore getting him to stay in a bed. Well contrary to my hopes I found him out of his crib a few weeks ago when I came to get him in the morning. Then I put him back in his crib to see how he was getting out and it took about 2 minutes for him to climb right back out of it. I have been really afraid of him crawling out and breaking something so I am forunate he did not do that. Needless to say he is now in a toddler bed here are a few pictures of him and his "new bed" he does a lot better than I thought in his bed. One day during a nap time I did find him in a pile of clothes that he had taken out of his dresser. We just put his dresser in his closet and we have been good to go will see what the next challenge is with this little monkey.

The New Year has started out pretty good for us. Micah is very busy as usual with school and trys to get all his homework time in, which is very hard to do with a family I know. He has to lock himself in our bedroom in order to get anything done and even then he still some times has little knocks on the door wanting his attention. I am doing ok working night shift and The kids seem to like their two babysitters that we have, which is such a blessing. As the year has started I have made some family goals. and personal goals. One of my personal goals is to get in shape and so I joined the gym and am proud to say I have been going everyday that I am not a work. I feel so much better and have missed the endorphins that come with working out. Some of my family goals are to eat out less, and fix healthier meals for the family and myself. This has worked out fairly well but could also be better. Everyday I thank God for a healthy family thus far. I am a paranoid Mother to say the least. If I see the kids are tired a lot or have a cough for too long exc. I immediately think they might have Cancer. I know this is because I work around the very young and old who have Cancer. It is a relentless disease and do not wish it on my worst enemy. I Love My job and am greatful I can help people in their time of need but it does not make it easy and feels like the success stories are few and far between. However when there is one it is the best thing. I recently took care of a 22 year old boy who fought the fight but he ended up loosing his life. I find these cases the hardest ones to handle and hope that someday I will understand all the why's to the awful things in this world. Well I will stop babbling but My heart had been full and I wanted to blog a little bit about it sooo have at it if you will or not. There are some cute pictures below. Home For Christmas!!!

We Were so fortunate to be able to go Home for Christmas for a week. I don't know how I pulled that off with my work but I did and it was Great. We were in Utah from the 24-27. We had a Great Christmas at the Scotts house. It was fun and we also got to see some good friends as well. The Kids were a little sick so that was kind of a bummer but other than that we did great. We then Headed down to Nevada to see my family. This was equally great and we had a lot of fun there as well. I was really fortunate to be able to spend some time with the girls in our family. My Grandpa Dee past away 3 years ago on December 28th. I was able to go the the grave with my Grandma and most of the girls in our family. It was so special to me and I was so glad I was able to do this. I felt his spirit there with us very strong that day and I know he is watching over our family. We were also able to have a get together with the whole family at los lupes for My cousin Randy's going away. He had to leave his little family for a year to go to afghanistan. I was so sad but I am sure he is doing great things. We arehome now and things are as Crazy as ever. Treyson has definitely hit his two's and is living up to them. He has started to throw quite the fits when he wants to. aaaah lets just hope its not quite as dramatic as Payton's two's were.

During the month of December we did some fun things.The kids had fun helping decorating the house and running around in their Christmas pajamas. There are a few picture of them Below. Payton is in this stage where she has figured out she can look at the digital pictures ,so she asks me to take a lot of pictures of her making funny faces or doing funny things and then she has to look at them. I am going to use these pictures as black mail later on in life.
We also went to ZOO LIGHTS. The zoo here decorates the zoo with a ton of lights and all sorts of neat things and animals. We had a lot of fun there. However we didn't get to see it all in one night and we were planning on going back but did not get the chance Payton was scared of all the play animals walking around so she would not get her picture taken with any of them so if you are wondering why she is not in them that is why. We will have to ride the train next year because it was decorated soo cute.
Then this year I made Special arrangements with Santa Claus to come early to our house because we didn't know if we could fit all his gifts on the plane home for Christmas. We started off the night with Payton and Mommy preparing the cookies for Santa and the carrots for the reindeer. Payton was really concerned that the reindeer would not get their carrots. I think she thought Santa would eat them. We had to tell her multiple times that Santa would give the carrots to the reindeer. In the Morning there was a lot of fun stuff from Santa and we also got to open all our presents from Grandpa and Grandma Sullivan and Grandma Dianne. The Kids got a train set that was the biggest hit of all the toys. Treyson has become fascinated with Thomas the train so he was really excited. Trey also got a little Diesel truck that goes on its own and well Payton was more interested in that than Trey. Payton got a leapster2. she is obssessed with playing with our Itouch's so Santa thought she would like this to play games on this and learn while she is doing it. They were really excited. Treyson was so cute when he opened his stocking and saw candy he took two of the pieces, one in each hand and got so excited he was almost shaking while yelling CANDY!!! He then proceeded to unwrap one as fast as he could and eat it. This Kid is in love with Chocolate. The other day When Micah was watching the kids or Supposed to be watching haha!!! he found Treyson on the counter. He had stood up on the counter and got the chocolate bowl off the top of the fridge and was unwrapping and shoveling chocolate bars in his mouth as fast as he could before he got caught. I am making bets about when our first trip to the emergency room for stitches will be for him because he is really lucky he hasn't been there yet with all of his climbing. Payton is getting so smart and was really into Santa this year it was fun to see her start to understand what was going on. We were also able to go home to Utah and Nevada to see our families which was soooo good. We love both of our families and are so blessed to have them more pictures to come from that.

OUR ORNAMENTLESS CHRISTMAS TREE!!!

We Put up our Christmas tree on Monday for family home evening. It was really fun with the kids. We were a little scared of what might happen due to the nature of our monkey son. So far our fear of him pulling the tree over on himself has not happened but he is being watched very carefully.( He did recently did pull over Payton's dresser on himself twice trying to climb up it). We did Great with the tree until we got to the ornaments. I luckily had thought ahead of time and got some unbreakable ornament balls. However that does not really help if they don't stay on the tree. What happened was Payton was busily trying to rearrange the balls for probably 2 hours while Treyson took them off and threw them around the room. It continued this morning as soon as Treyson woke up so needless to say we now have a ornamentless Christmas tree and I am fine with it. Here are some cute pictures of the kids with the tree. There are also some Pictures of the kids at the end in their rain coats. I figured they could use them since it has been raining pretty much everyday this month. P. Every Year around Thanksgiving I feel the need to be thankful for things imagine that. I am truly a blessed person and have so many good people and things in my life. Our family has truly been blessed this year with Micah getting excepted to CRNA School in Oregon. Although it continues to be a hard adjustment for me being so far away from everyone I think it is helping our family be closer. I Keep teasing Micah that he has a girlfriend because he is gone so much studying and today I asked him what he was going to do about his girlfriend during Christmas break when he didn't have the excuse to go study. He told me " I guess I will have to dump her." I am truly blessed to have a husband who loves me for who I am. He is a great father and he loves the gospel. I blessed to have two beautiful children in my life that I love and adore. Some how they wear me out everyday and the next day I can't wait to see their smiling faces. I am greatful for my family and Micah's family but most of all I am greatful for our heavenly father and Jesus Christ who have blessed our lives so much. I have seen there blessings so much as we have went through this big transition. I found a job so quickly and have been able to adjust to nights a lot better than I thought was possible. I pray that as the Christmas Season roles around and the next years comes to play that we will all take a minute to remember Why we are here and Thank our heavenly father and Jesus Christ. We are so excited to be able to come home for Christmas and see everyone. I hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving

We Were able to go back to Utah to see Micah's brother Taylor get married. I was really excited to go home and see all of the family and friends in Northern Utah. The Kids and I flew in on Wednesday so we could spend some extra time with people. I have to admit it was rough with Treyson on the plane. Then to top it all off the plane had to circle the airport several times and We were on the plane at least an extra half an hour which seemed like nine years but we made it. We were able to see and stay with Micah's family. We miss them soo much. We also had the privilege of having Aunt T come up to see us and stay for a couple of days. Thanks Aunt T for taking time away to visit. Tiff also took some days off work which meant a lot and we were able to spend a lot of time together. The wedding was great and we are so happy for Taylor. the kids got to wear cute little outfits that Grandma Jana had for them. Even though it made me realized how much I missed everyone being so close I am greatful for the trip Thanks Rick and Jana for helping us with flying there we are so greatful. We went to a trunk or treat on saturday night at the Church it was fun and we were glad the church held something on saturday for all us LDS people in Oregon. I love The month of October because there are so many fun thing to do with the kids. There are several things that we have done this month. The first thing we did was make sugar cookies and let the kids attempt to decorate them. Treyson just crumbled his up and then spread the sprinkles all over the table. Payton did ok and over all it was fun. I love doing things like this with the kids even if it is a big mess to clean up. The next set of pictures are of us going to the pre-season game with the portland trailblazers vs. the Utah Jazz. As most of you know I love the Utah Jazz and have been really sad about not being able to see them play so often. So we packed the kids up in there Jazz gear and rode the Tracks to the game. The kids had fun riding the "train." The Jazz won and we didn't get harrassed to much it was fun. The Third set of Pictures our of Aunt T comng to visit. She came last weekend and we did some fun things. We went to the Cheese Factory, The coast and the zoo. The kids love Aunt T. Then today Payton got her first real haircut. She was a little scared at first but she did well. Then her and Treyson got balloons so they were so happy. Later on in the day we took the kids to the pumpkin patch. we have started a tradition with this and I love it. The kids love riding in the pumpkin wagon and picking out their pumpkins. We had so much fun.

I have been pretty bad about blogging. However we are alive here in Oregon and so far so good things are getting better as we get settled in. Micah officially starts school tommorow so he is excited for that. In the mean time we have had sometime to do some fun things. The first pictures are of the kids at this cool park in Portland called Washington park. It is very pretty and green and has a huge play area. The kids really enjoy playing there and I like it because It doesn't have many places where Treyson can fall off. Since he is fearless and has already fallen off one playground in his short life. the second set of pictures are of the Oregon Zoo. We still haven't see it all but we have a pass so we plan on going again. However Treyson was so funny he loved the Bear. he just kept yelling bear as loud as he could. The third set of pictures our at the Beaverton city celebration parade. My Mom and Dad came to visit for a few days and we all went to the parade. The kids got so much candy. they gave out books and a lot of stuff. I think the best thing we did was that we went to the Beach twice and stopped at the cheese factory which was good they have the best ice cream. We liked it so much the first time we went like three days later. the pics are so cute Treyson and Payton loved it. Treyson was trying to go right in the ocean but it was way to cold he didn't care though. We also put our foot prints all in the sand my idea of course but I love it. anyway we are doing good. I am adjusting to my job. It can be stressful at times but a lot better than I thought it would be doing nights. We love and miss everyone hope all are doing well.

We are here is Portland. We moved out on the 21st of Aug. Micah and his Dad drove the moving truck and I drove the kids in the car with the dogs. It is a Twelve hour drive and we did it over two days Suprisingly enough It wasn't two bad other than everytime we stopped it was a thirty minute process to get the kids in and out of places and then letting the dogs out. We Spent a long day on saturday getting everything out of the truck and then relaxed on Sunday. I started work that Monday at OHSU. Micah flew back to Utah on The 25th and he will be there until the 8th working. We Miss him and our excited for him to come home. My mom has been here the last eight days and has been tons of help cooking, cleaning and of course watching he kids while I did my first 2 weeks of orientation. She flew back today. Thanks MOM! So far things are going good. I am thankful for my GPS I don't know how people got along with out things like that. We haven't done a whole lot because I have been at work so much but we did go to the Zoo one day for a little while and that was cool. I took the kids to ride the tram up to my work they thought that was sooo cool. I have learned to ride the bus and max line which suprisingly I don't really mind. They have a lot of cool farmers markets on saturday here and The weather has been great not to hot not to cold. Here are some pictures of Jesse and Dustins new little girl Haylee. THE TIME HAS COME!!!!

The time has come. We will be moving to Portland Oregon next week. We found a townhome in Beaverton Oregon which is a suburb of Portland. I also will be starting a new job there at Oregon Health Science University which is where Micah is going to school. I am working on a Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. This is the Job I was going for and When we went out there last week The manager hired me on the spot. I was so glad because then we had more time to look for a house. So next friday The kids, the dogs and I will be heading out over a two day trip. Micah and his Dad will follow with our stuff. I hope everything goes ok. these pictures below are just a few Pictures I took of the school and where I will be working. I will be working on the 14 floor of the building and it looks straight out over the whole city of Portland. The school has a tram that will take you off the hill into Portland it is really cool. Portland is one big forrest there are trees everywhere you look soooo green!!!! This past week we were able to go to lake powell with my whole family minus Christan's family, Daniel and Chase and of course my Grandpa who will always be missed. however it was a great trip My Grandma Rented a 70 foot houseboat for all of us. We had two boats and a Jet ski to play with. Everyone got a turn to do what they wanted. Micah mostly liked the wakeboarding on the jet ski with Randy and others. I did get up on ski's and the wakeboard but not for long it was still fun though. We also had plenty of tube rides that were full of action to say the least. I think we all have bruises from that. Payton even rode on the tube with Kaylee and Micah which really surprised me. they however tipped over and after that she didn't want to go again. Payton had so much fun playing with Kaylee on the beach and well to put it as Kaylee said Treyson is an animal. My aunt Kristine and Uncle Scott were in charge of getting all the food and there was a lot believe me Thanks everyone who helped make our vacation great. The kids and I went to WestLake California this past week with My sister Tara and My Mom. The Purpose of our trip was to go see My Great Grandpa Just which yes my childrens great great Grandpa. He is so with it and does so well for his age I was so amazed. We have not seen him since my wedding almost 5 years ago. We had a short stay but were able to do fun things. We went to zuma beach in Malibu. This is always a fun experience for me. There is something about the ocean that leaves me in aahhh. I do not care if it is freezing cold I still enjoy the experience. The kids were also able to experience it for the first time. They were both a little scared of the big waves but they enjoyed playing in the sand. Micah asked Payton how she liked the beach and she said she got sand in her eye and the water was cold. We also were just able to do a lot of visiting with my Grandpa and meet a lot of his neat friends. I do however have to say that I was sooo glad to be home and have Treyson back in his own eniviroment where it is baby proof and he can get some good sleep. He had a really hard time but hopefully he can get back to his normal self. He is always crazy but not quite so bratty. Anyway here are some pictures they go backwords so enjoy. The Fourth of July and Other Activities

We had a really fun fourth of July this year. We started out by going to the Stadium of Fire this year and seeing Carrie Underwood and watching the fireworks. It was great. Rick and Jana bought us all tickets. Treyson didn't go but he watched the fireworks at home with Jesse and Dustin Which was really nice because he would have been a mad man there thanks for all that everyone. The on Sunday which was actually the fourth we had a nice dinner at The Scotts house and did fireworks. Payton really enjoyed it this year as you can tell in the Pictures. she was right there in the mix of everything. Last year she was scared.
On Monday Was the Freedom Run and the Parade. Micah, Rick and I ran the 5K again this year it was good then we watched the Parade. It was a really good weekend.

We were able to go on a great vacation this last weekend with a lot of my family. My
Uncle Scott and Aunt Kristine planned a trip to Sand Hollow Lake near St. George. It was awesome. We had My cousin Christan and her kids there from Virginia and all the rest of us. My Mom and Dad came and it was so much fun. We were able to boat ride, wake board, tube, jet ski, four wheel, play by the beach and eat of course. My aunt and uncle had a lot of meals prepared and put a lot of work into this vacation and we are so greatful. The kids had the most fun playing on the beach. Bailey, Corbin, Kaylee and Payton worked all day at projects on the beach one including a river they built themselves. We also made smores every night here are a bunch of pics thanks everyone for a great vacation.

I wanted to say happy fathers day to first of all my Dad who has taught me pretty much everything about life and how to work hard and be responsible. He has also told me to always do what I say I am going to do and if I am not going to it don't say it. I am so thankful for him on this day and how much he has helped me out in my life.

The Second Dad in my life is My husband. He is such an awesome Father to my Children and he helps out sooo much with the kids. He is a hard worker and I am so proud of everything he has done to make our family successful. He is definitely the humble one of us and the patient one as well thanks hunny for all you do.

The Third one is Rick. My father in law. He is a great Dad and has taught my husband well. For that I am very greatful. He is also a great father in law and Grandpa Thanks Rick

This Weekend Micah's sister Jessica got married. It was a good day and things seemed to work out. Even the rain cleared up enough to have the reception. It was fun to dress the kids up in cute little wedding outfits. Here are some fun pictures of the wedding. Along with the wedding to tell everyone what has been going on with our family. We are now in a one bedroom apartment in provo. It isn't easy but we are definitely surviving and we are glad our house is clean and rented. That was a big stressful job!!!!! There are a few things that are keeping us sane. 1. Joaquin Park. There is a really nice park two blocks from our house. Almost everyday the kids and the dogs and I go to the park. Payton rides her bike and trey strolls. We tried having him walk once but he likes to do way to much sight seeing to get anywhere. 2. The veterans pool. We got a pass to a pool that is also close to us. The kids are having a lot of fun there. I Took some pictures but then my SD card got ruined so there will be more pics to come. 3. The Duck pond. We live close to BYU and so they have a duck pond. We take many walks there as well.
We also have some fun vacations planned to look forward to. This week we are going to Sand Hollow Lake with my family. There is going to be a bunch of people from my family there I am looking forward to it. I grew up going to the lake and water skiing a lot so it should be fun.
I am also planning a trip to CA to see my Great Grandpa and yes the kids GREAT GREAT GRANDPA JUST. My Mom, sister and I and the kids are going in July. then there is Micah and I's Trip to Portland to pick a place to live and hopefully for me find a job. anyway This is what is going on hopefully it will continue to be a good summer

So as many of you know we are moving to Portland in September. Well we found some people that wanted to sign a 3 year rent to own our house here. So we have moved into a small apartment for 3 months and put the majority of our stuff in a storage shed. It was been Very stressful but we are done now and just surviving here in our apartment. Here are a few random pics of the kids at the park. Max and I and our friends that come to our new apartment that we feed. these two ducks come to our house all the time and we feed them.

Just wanted to right a quick note about this special day. First of all very thankful for my Mother and all that she has taught me and sacrificed for me.Thankful for My Grandma the mother of our Sullivan family and Jana for her help and good example to our family. I am always hoping I can take a little bit of each of you into my own mothering. I worked today but had a good day. Micah brought the kids to eat lunch with me at the hospital which meant more than anything to see their smiling faces. I am so greatful to be a mother and hope that I can just get more patient and better at it because heavens know I need improvement. Thanks and love you all

So I was able to have a girls night out with linds and Tristyn. We went to the Jazz game vs. the nuggets it was really fun and really loud. I loved it. Lindsey and Tristyn sported their Jazz gear with me even though they are from Kansas and Wyoming Thanks Girls. It was great. I don't know what I am going to do without lindsey when we both move!!!

We had a fun Easter this year. The kids woke up to there easter baskets. We then went over to Micah's Families house and had easter egg hunts and ate some good dinner. It was also Jana's birthday on Easter so we celebrated that and It was a good day. General conference was that weekend so we watched that and enjoyed the day. Payton Turns 3!!!!

So March is a busy Month for us. We Have My Birthday, Our Anniversary, and Payton's Birthday all within about 3 weeks. We have had a fun month and a special thanks to all who have made us feel special.
Payton Turned three on the 28th and I can't believe time flys so fast. Here are some pictures of her birthday party. We took her and her little friends to jumpin jacks and then we came back to our house and had a pinata. It was hillarious to see the kids try to hit the pinata. We ended up having Stephen hit it really hard and then the kids went wild. We then ate some Dora cake and opened presents.
T he first two pictures below are of my birthday. Lindsey made me a cake then came over in her scrubs with her apron on and her coat over that. I thought it was extra cute so I took a picture. Lindsey has been my baker through all these birthdays and it has been awesome. She made Payton's Dora cake below which was so awesome and took a lot of time. Thanks Lindsey. Thanks to all of you who supported us on our special days Payton had a great birthday.

PAYTON IS 3!!!!!

Payton is getting so big and she is definitely a smart little girl with a mind of her own. This is her on her birthday and Tori got her ready sooo cute. Payton has a lot of talents.

1. She has recently taken a gymnastics class where she is one of the only kids in the class that follows the teacher she does really well.

2. She loves to watch Dora the Explorer and Diego.
3. She has recently got a lot better at her colors and she can almost sing her abc's without any help

4. She can count to 12 in english and 6 in spanish

5. She is almost potty trained but still has her stubborn moments.

7. She can be a good big sister but still has some trouble being nice to treyson. I keep telling her he is going to be bigger than her soon and she will be sorry.

So after a long and frustrating journey of applications, interviews in 5 states and a lot of money and waiting we are proud to announce that Micah got the call yesterday from The Oregon health Science University and he has been accepted into their Nurse Anesthetist Program and We are so happy to finally know we are going somewhere. Portland was one of our top choices so we are happy about this. Now we have a lot of work to do to figure out what to do with the house and all that other stuff that comes with moving. If anyone has any tips let us know. We are also going to miss our family sooo much. They better all come visit us. We will probably taking off in september or late august. Here are a few pictures of the school and the town. Portland is very green and it has a river that runs right through it. The school is up on a big hill and you can take the tram you see in this picture to get there micah says its pretty neat.

These are Pictures from the REX LEE Run. I ran in honor of a Cancer Patient I love very much Rob Wilson. It was pretty good. It was the first 5k I had done since July when I developed Plantar Fascitis in my Left foot. But so far all is well and I was pretty proud of myself. I did it with my best friend Tif and her baby Dakota.

These Pictures our from the TREE HOUSE. There is a tree house in the mall I take the kids to. they play here a lot in the winter I have been meaning to bring my camera for a while but I finally did and we had a lot of fun.

This is Payton's Gymnastics class. she really enjoys it and is learning to be a little more brave. treyson also has a little fun when he goes too.

Treyson Turned 1 on Februaury 20th. It was a bitter sweet day for me because I was Happy to celebrate but sad that my baby has gotten so big sooo fast. It seems like yesterday that I had him. He has been such a blessing in my life and I am soo blessed to have such wonderful children. Treyson is a little bit fussier than Payton was but he is sooo smiley and has such a cute personality. He always has this mischeivous smile on his face. He is a go getter and never stops when he is awake. We had a great Day. We started out the day making the cupcakes and cake for his party. My friend Lindsey who is so talented helped me make these cute elmo and cookie monster cupcakes you will see in the pictures below. Thanks Linds. Then we had a Party and Grandma Jana and Grandpa Ricks house. Thanks you to everyone who came .

6. He loves balls and throwing things
7. He is obssessed with getting in the fridge and the dishwasher.
8. I think he is about 20 lbs and wears 12months and 9 months clothes.
9. He can climb about anything. he already climbs himself on the couches all by himself.
10. He is a lot more of a mommas boy than Payton ever was.
11. He is soooooo cute and loveable. Thanks Treyson your amazing!!!!
