OFF TO PORTLAND OREGON!!!

So after a long and frustrating journey of applications, interviews in 5 states and a lot of money and waiting we are proud to announce that Micah got the call yesterday from The Oregon health Science University and he has been accepted into their Nurse Anesthetist Program and We are so happy to finally know we are going somewhere. Portland was one of our top choices so we are happy about this. Now we have a lot of work to do to figure out what to do with the house and all that other stuff that comes with moving. If anyone has any tips let us know. We are also going to miss our family sooo much. They better all come visit us. We will probably taking off in september or late august. Here are a few pictures of the school and the town. Portland is very green and it has a river that runs right through it. The school is up on a big hill and you can take the tram you see in this picture to get there micah says its pretty neat.

Gymnastics, Tree House, 5k and More!!!

These are Pictures from the REX LEE Run. I ran in honor of a Cancer Patient I love very much Rob Wilson. It was pretty good. It was the first 5k I had done since July when I developed Plantar Fascitis in my Left foot. But so far all is well and I was pretty proud of myself. I did it with my best friend Tif and her baby Dakota.

These Pictures our from the TREE HOUSE. There is a tree house in the mall I take the kids to. they play here a lot in the winter I have been meaning to bring my camera for a while but I finally did and we had a lot of fun.

This is Payton's Gymnastics class. she really enjoys it and is learning to be a little more brave. treyson also has a little fun when he goes too.

Treyson Turns 1!!!!!!

Treyson Turned 1 on Februaury 20th. It was a bitter sweet day for me because I was Happy to celebrate but sad that my baby has gotten so big sooo fast. It seems like yesterday that I had him. He has been such a blessing in my life and I am soo blessed to have such wonderful children. Treyson is a little bit fussier than Payton was but he is sooo smiley and has such a cute personality. He always has this mischeivous smile on his face. He is a go getter and never stops when he is awake. We had a great Day. We started out the day making the cupcakes and cake for his party. My friend Lindsey who is so talented helped me make these cute elmo and cookie monster cupcakes you will see in the pictures below. Thanks Linds. Then we had a Party and Grandma Jana and Grandpa Ricks house. Thanks you to everyone who came .

Here are a Few Things about Treyson at 1 Year old.
1. He can now walk it is not his main mode of transportation but he is doing it more and more.
2. He still has that wonderful smile.
3. He has 7 teeth
4. He can show he is 1 years old and wave bye bye.
5. He can say ma ma, Dad, dog, no and go
6. He loves balls and throwing things
7. He is obssessed with getting in the fridge and the dishwasher.
8. I think he is about 20 lbs and wears 12months and 9 months clothes.
9. He can climb about anything. he already climbs himself on the couches all by himself.
10. He is a lot more of a mommas boy than Payton ever was.
11. He is soooooo cute and loveable. Thanks Treyson your amazing!!!!

Taylor Comes Home!!!

Micah's brother Taylor came home on Saturday Jan 30th from his two year mission in Paraguay. It was really good to see him again. It was his first time meeting Treyson and Payton was about Treyson's age when he left. We are so proud of him and glad that he is home. Here are a few pictures of us at the airport. Good job Tay!!!!

Boy Does Time Fly!!!!

Payton Started Gymnastics class on Tuesday and I was so excited to take her. She had a lot of fun and followed directions well. However we had only been there about 30 Minutes when the teacher asked Payton if she could teach her a new thing and she said no me do this! The Teacher said well she really has her own opnions doesn't she. I told the teacher YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!!! I love this kid but she definitely has a mind of her own and only does things if she wants to. For instance Potty training Payton can go a long time without an accident and then one week she just decides she is done being a big girl. this results in her taking of her pull up during nap time and pooing in her closet. She then spreads her poop. It is so disgusting and I have no idea how to get her to stop if anybody has any ideas let me know. She is very smart and she is learning things so fast. It is hard for me to see her getting so big too fast. It is however fun to see her grow and learn. These pictures of her below our of her leotard I bought her for gymnastics. I love this kid

Treyson Turned 11 months old on the 20th. He is doing really well. here are some facts about Tresyon

1. He is always smiling and such a happy kid unless he is hungry or tired.

2. He will no longer tolerate us feeding him for to long he insists on feeding himself

3. He stands all by himself and has taken up to 6 steps on his own.

4. It usually takes two people to change his clothes and diaper because he just wants to go and he hates it.

5. He can say momma dada, nono, and go go.

6. He has started to put the number one up in preparation for is number 1 birthday.

7. He loves the dog food, dog water, and has been found playing in the toilet. Yuck!!!

8. He loves to climb and seems fearless at this point.

I love this kid and am having a bitter sweet moment about him being 1 this year has been so fast.
